Merry X-mas again but with this small demo.
More interesting is that it uses hires-lines alternating color and alternative charset for sprites.
In this mode the limits are 32x20 characters 'playfield' (i.e. 192x160 pixels) and 80 char definitions.
Not much but not too bad

So if I understand this right, the bells are constructed from ASCII chars displayed in LORES0, but the colour attributes are set alternating with HIRES codes .. and a single frame of animation consists of the new chars being copied .. ?

@ibisum: Yes, exactly this . And the scrolled text is done also with dynamical char redefinition.

And to not to have complete 8 but withdrawal during a week of Christmas holiday out of the house, a day we’ll spend in the computer museum in Zwolle.
