Wonderful
And the game PUT UP is another AAA diamond to use with this IJK stick
Thanks, i'll be happy to acquire an interface (or build one) to play this game

Excellent work!
But just to check: I did pre-order an 8Bit Hub that also promises joystick support. Also pre-ordered the Twilighte board again promissing joystick support. Both will essentially provide me the same as the IJK-egoist in joystick support, right? Just want to avoid ordering basically twice the same thing (more than I already did that is).
But even if I would not need it myself: cheap and easy ubuiqitous joystick support for Oric also will make other solutions more valuable.... So great!

Received and works great! Software code to include in my own game also did work, can now control my own game with the gamepad.
Very happy! Easy, elegant and well working solution.
Just one question / request: would it also be possible to make DSK images of the IJK game collection? I hate to constantly have to switch between my Erebus and Cumana Reborn collected. And unless I do something wrong, I found out that it is not as easy as just converting with TAP2DSK as that fails to load past the first loader.
Is that conversion to DSK easy to do? And if yes, how?

@xahmol: I'm glad you are satisfied! And the post delivery was really fast

My wish was to release a complete "Oric-gamer solution" - nice made hardware, backed with lot of software, ported or developed exclusively for IJK-egoist interface. This took me lot of time and delayed the planed release with months. I'm working to finish adaptation of some more games and I'll update the downloads regularly. All feedback and wishes are welcome!
About the DSK release: hmmm, you know, I have an idea

Will see, it should work with all DSK-based peripherals! Hopefully I'll resurrect it quick

Hello Rax & Iss, i've received my ijk egoist interface (wife's gift for christmas)
Thanks a lot for this jewel.
I've already tried with loading done by maxduino :
- interface test : working fine (for my left hand
)
- oric munch : ok
- styx : the loader didn't find the second part after the intro
Please find below some pics

Hello,
I am very interested by your interface, very well designed. But I have a question : by looking at the photos of the interface, I can see that the switch (for Joystick 1 or 2) is very close to a capacitor. I feel like moving the switch may let your finger push the capacitor.
Is this exact ?
Do we have to often switch between Joystick 1 and 2 ?
Can we use the switch while the Oric is turned on ?
Thanks !

@dizzy33: Thanks for the interest and good questions
.
All the provided 30+ games use the left one and only very, very few of them have the option to select left or right joystick to be used.
The change is immediate and you can continue to work with newly selected joystick.

The micro-switch and the capacitor are close, but the switch can be easy manipulated with fingers - no danger for mechanical damages on both (capacitor and switch). It's possible to use a tool (tweezers, small screw-driver, ball-pen, etc) to operate the switch too....moving the switch may let your finger push the capacitor.
No, not often. I didn't found a game which requires right joystick so far.Do we have to often switch between Joystick 1 and 2 ?

Yes, you can use the switch while the Oric is turned on and it's safe to do so!Can we use the switch while the Oric is turned on ?
