If you want to ask questions about how the machine works, peculiar details, the differences between models, here it is !
How to program the oric hardware (VIA, FDC, ...) is also welcome.

Hello,
Can u explain me how to burn chip.
I have TL866II+, i have Mac and I use MiniPro command line in the terminal.

Someone use it?

When I trie to erase CHIP M27128A I can't "The chip can't be erased !" with minipro -p "M27128A@DIP28" -E
When I trie to write minipro -p "M27128A@DIP28" -w test108j.rom "Verification failed at address 0x0000: File=0x4F, Device=0x00'

I just can read it minipro -p "M27128A@DIP28" -r- -P

Thx for help

You must put your memory chip under U.V light, the exposure will erase the memory.

... erase CHIP M27128A ....
What type and model exactly is your chip?
If it's such one M27128A - it's UV EPROM.
The UV EPROMS can NOT be erased with any programmer you need UV lamp ERASER.

Else I have the TL866 programmer, Mac and bunch of UV chips but I never tried to play with this configuration.
I use normally Linux with Wine to run the "official" Windows software of TL866 and never had any problems.
If you don't have other option to run programmer's software I can try with Mac command line software.
Please, attach a photo of the chip - this will help.
