Atmos speaker volume

Hello,
After concluding that some humming noise (especially prior to reset upon powering on) is an Oric's feature I decided to slightly decrease speaker volume
Would me 100 Ohm resistor be enough?

I can't answer that, but since I'm not sure how you wanted to proceed, you can do that without soldering or modifying the machine by putting a resistor (or a potentiometer) on the TAP output (the connector has some audio pins).

You can play with different values HERE :).

After with 100 Ohms:

IMHO with 100 Ohms the sound will be too low, but this is individual and depend on how much you want to decrease the volume.

Alright, I made it 5 0hm, and I am pretty happy with outcome
