CEO meeting june 2011 report

Post by Symoon »

Hi,

Nice little meeting yesterday. 8 at the restaurant, about 13 at the meeting place.
Demo and tests with the Hxc floppy emulator http://hxc2001.free.fr/floppy_drive_emulator/ (requires a controller card)

I also let the demo of Skool Daze run for a while, and showed an official Spanish version of L'Aigle d'Or (El Aguila De Oro).

The Super Oric was also shown, lots of hardware testing, and that's all I can recall for now.

I have never been very interested in this project, so the best way to learn about it is to visit the page by André, great contributor (but in French):

So glad it went well Symoon. Sounds like you got a good number this year even without Fabrice.

Yeah I am also very glad it went so well and you had a good time. I have always wanted to be in one of those meetings, but it is a bit difficult for me to go to Paris... bad train combination and quite expensive flights.

Oh, btw... so there is an "official" spanish version of L'aigle d'Or?.. I would love to have a look at it... do you have a virtual tape :) ?

@symoon,

did anyone talk about the Cumulus disk? It's all gone a bit quiet on that front.

@Chema: I'll send it to you as soon as I finish replying to messages here ;-)

@Barnsey: I wasn't able to follow all the discussions (didn't even notice the HxC until late in the meeting, 1st thinking it was the Cumulus!). Of course the Cumulus name was has been pronounced, but it was the HxC that was heavily tested and I think most of the talking was about it.
