Giving away faulty tape player

Post by Symoon »

Hi, I'm giving away the following tape player.
Rewind works fine, but fast forward and play only work if there's no tape in the player! I opened it, apparently there's no belt, so maybe the gears are tired or badly positionned. The counter blet has melted.

The tape is in Amiens, France. Can be picked up there, or in Paris if you're not bothered waiting for a few months. Otherwise I'm asking for the shipping cost (it's a bit heavy so it can be expensive).

This offer has also been posted on the Oric.org forum - 1st asking gets it ;) If nobody shows interest before October 8th, the player will be trashed.

Approx weight: 1.2Kg, so here are the French post office costs:
- France: 9.15 € or 13.90€ Outre-Mer
- European Union: 18.05 € (UK add 3€ because of Brexit)
- Eastern Europe (outside EU and Russia), Norway and North Africa: 25.05 €
- Rest of the world: 42.95 €

Already have enough on my shelves :-p

Seems to be one for the SC-3000 machine, maybe you'd find interested people on specific forums?

Thanks, I could give a try if no-one's interested in the Oric World after summer holidays!
