LUDO: 'new' BASIC game

Post by xahmol »

In 1992 I wrote a Ludo game for the Commodore 128, just for fun I decided to port the game to Oric Atmos.
It heavily uses both disk operations as SEDORIC extended basic commands, so a disk drive (emulator) is needed.

See Github for the finished DSK and HFE builds and all source code:

Already posted elsewhere on the forum as well, but as the game is now fnished for a first version maybe nice to show here as well.

PS: Known issue is that there is a pesky bug somewhere in the valid move routine that in rare cases forbids a valid move at the end of the game. Will have to look into that sometime, but wanted to release something already and most games I finished play well now.

A classy and polished effort - well done! And thanks for keeping us in the loop about your development journey - the details you uncovered with SEDORIC are useful!
