It's building a computer from scratch but the schematics arent' there for the components provided.
Whilst there are documents there doesnt' seem to be enough to actually build anything.

I have it on disk if anyone wants it. I'll have to have a search to see if I've got it on tape, but I should have.

Re: RIP Twilighte
I'm rather distraut because I don't think I will be able to make it. I'm not certain yet, but I don't think I will manage it. Though I felt very close we only actually met a few times. Twi spent much more time with you guys at CEO meets and with those of you at the coding parties. We chatted a lot o...

(Some) people are creative. I'm a musician, all be it not a very good one. For some musicians there is the urge to perform. You can go on stage,as I have done, and play your heart out. What do you get at the end of the say? Nothing much. The work is gone. Any pay we ever got went back into expenses ...

Re: Are there any english Oric mags left?
No, I don't think so. We were full of enthusiasm and hope but it didn't really turn out as well as we'd hoped. We struggled to fill the pages and we got little correspondence that was necessary to make a dialogue between the magazine/group and its users/ readers. I'd hoped to coax Jonathan into writ...

Re: RIP Twilighte
Jonathan was a great person and so enthusiastic about the Oric. He helped save the hoard of Oric goodies from Steve Hopps garage which resulted in the discovery of the Phoenix. Ever the generous type he sent the boards to those that could get the best from them. He was always trying to get an Oric m...

Re: Missing Twilighte productions
If anyone hasn't had this running on their Oric it's a nice demo wiht a relaxed gentle mesmerising theme tune. It's quite a nice change from some of the furious, manicly bouncing demos that you see on other machines. The characters change into a flowing effect that is a bit like sitting by a lake. I...

Re: Are there any english Oric mags left?
I'm currently in Elgin (north Scotland), but I'm originally from the south of England. I was in Devon when I first bought an Atmos. Ah, a bit far north. Peter the Spider used to live there but is in US now. I know there were a couple of Oric owners in Sterling and maybe one in Edinburgh. I'd be int...

Re: Are there any english Oric mags left?
Where is Scotland are you from? There used to be a West Lothian User Group. (Long since folded.) Oric User Monthly was the longest running UK magazine. There were a few others but they gradually slid by the wayside as people got tempted away by more modern computers. When OUM decided to close Rhetor...

Re: Missing software?
I think Oric Star came out much earlier. Rhetoric disk#1 is available from my website. Was that 1999? (It's SO long ago!!!). Most of the Rhetoric stuff wasn't new but it contained disk versions of games that hadn't been on general release previously and some odds and ends from magazines and such tha...

It's strange to be here at this time. They said we'd have flying cars and hovering trains in 1999.
Oh well. I hope this year is better than the last one! All the best.
