Atmos replacement keyboard
Are there any projects for an Atmos replacement keyboard PCB that would utilize Cherry MX switches and caps?

Re: Down arrow key not working on my Atmos
It’s the bottom side of the PCB. And the broken joint might not even be visible to the naked eye. Mine was just barely and I might’ve overlooked it if I hadn’t been specifically looking for a broken solder joint. Keep your iron at 300 degrees, if it is adjustable and don’t hold the tip at one place ...

Re: Help with two Orics
I took board #2 into use as board #1 has gotten a bit crankier to boot, especially with the Erebus and IJK Egoist connected. Probably should service the caps and also do the 10 uF cap fix on the boot circuit. I was delighted to see that at least Erebus worked all right with the TMS27C128-2JL EPROM a...

Re: Atmos ROM
I tried again my motherboard with the Basic ROM burned on an EPROM. Erebus works all right. Does this mean that the TMS27C128-2JL is a suitable replacement for Atmos Basic ROM?

Re: Down arrow key not working on my Atmos
Crisis averted! Turns out it was a bad solder joint in the down arrow key. A dab of fresh solder and it's working again!
Xahmol, if you haven't done so already, check and possibly freshen up the solder joints of the button that's giving you grief.

Re: Down arrow key not working on my Atmos
Apparently, you can print the stem.

For me, that isn’t the solution. I need to open up my Atmos and see how it looks like on the other side.

Re: Down arrow key not working on my Atmos
I also checked the stem. I believe it’s all right as the jaws are making contact when I push the stem down.

Re: Down arrow key not working on my Atmos
I did remove the cap and soaked it with contact cleaner. That didn’t help, unfortunately. Have to take a closer look at the switch.

Down arrow key not working on my Atmos
I booted my Atmos after some time and I noticed that the down arrow key had stopped working. It doesn't 'beep' like the other keys and the cursor does not move down. It was working last time I tried it. Other keys seem to work, including the ones on the same column with the down arrow. Has the switc...

Undoubtedly, but there’s no Digikey around where I live. The local store has only these light blue ones.

Re: ORIC SDCARD
I'm still not too fond of 3D printing for such cases but I must admit it looks way better than the Cumulus already! But why put the SD slot at the bottom and not on the top part (at the red-black junction)? On the other end I the blue SD part protruding from the Cumulus doesn't look that nice eithe...

Re: ORIC SDCARD
Thanks! I’m really happy with how it turned out. Of course, the case could’ve been a bit deeper, as the SD card module is sticking out from the back. I had to go with a guesstimate in regards of that when I was modeling the case. I still need to find some suitable self-tapping screws to put the case...
