Re: New source code repository on OSDN.net

@iss Indeed, 1 gigabyte, and half of it is the .svn management data, that being said, you don't have to checkout the entire repository, you can totally do that only on the folders you are interested in. Regarding the LatencyTester, it's a commit I did of a test program I had not yet submitted, to m...

Re: New source code repository on OSDN.net

You have to recreate new accounts on OSDN.net, it was not possible to import existing credentials, it's a totally new system, all I was able to do was to import the history of files, but not the actual user accounts, so you have to make a new one, and then tell me when it's done so I can add you. (T...

Re: New source code repository on OSDN.net

Dear DBug. I understood that some accounts have been created related to our directories. If yes, what are them, or do i need to create one by myself ? As far as I can see, you create the users/coco directory yourself about 10 years ago: https://osdn.net/projects/oricsdk/scm/svn/tree/head/users/coco...

New source code repository on OSDN.net

Let's start by mentioning the elefant in the room: Regarding GIT, that may happen at some point, but not in 2020, and if/when that happens, the repository should probably be broken in multiple parts, one for the OSDK, and various other repositories for the demos, games, etc... That having been said,...

Nice, I guess you are still limited to 64k address space, or did you find a way to access more ram?

Re: Oric extender - a basis for DIY projects and experiments

Cool, so basically using this as a reference design, it's possible to make cards that can use address spaces that don't overlap on each other and can then run alongside properly? Hmmm, yes, but I didn't even thought about such possibility :). For sure there should be added one more 34-pin connector...

Re: IJK-egopad the joypad for Oric by [raxiss]

I was wondering about something: All these Joysticks are using DB9 connectors, we need 2 pins for +5v and ground, 4 pins for the for directions, so why do we have only one fire button? We have two additional pins, can't they be used to handle some additional fire button, or some select/menu/pause?

@jbperin: Attached are all Oric related ROM files for Clock Signal (together with a txt file which explains 'who's'who') ;).
Looks like the clk-rompack archive only contains a "Erebus_case_bottom.stl" file.

Re: IJK-egopad the joypad for Oric by [raxiss]

Question: What happened if you take two Orics, each with a IJK Egoist interface, and you connect both to the joypad, one on each connector :)
Would that work, or would that crash and burn horribly?

Re: Source code repository discussion

It's pretty opaque what source code this thread is talking about, We area talking of "svn.defence-force.org" which had the source code for the OSDK, as well as sources of some games and demos. but for my emulator I have GitHub set up automatically to build the SDL version upon any push to a branch ...

Re: What works on Erebus? Welcome to Oric and best other demo.

I already also ordered a Cumana Reborn, but that will take some patience still as it is pre-order. Does converting the .tap image of Welcome to Oric Atmos to a disk image for the Cumana work? Or is that thinking to easily? Normally the Sedoric 3 floppy already comes with the "Welcome" already prese...
