I can't stop myself from searching for black and red boxes and cases around... that could be reused to put custom hardware for my ORIC.
I already noticed DVD cases have a nice finish (under the transparent plastic film) that resembles the atmos, although the polymer is different.
I know there are also red DVD cases, not sure the color is matching.
cf. http://www.izidisc.com/fr/markrub.php?mark=31&rub=29
They would make a nice fit for home made expansion boards.
The only problem are the 2 pins on the top to hold the leaflet and the dvd holder, the whole stuff being pressed and cut, so it leaves holes in the case.
Still with some tricks it could be useful.
Anyone knows DVD-like cases without those holes ?
Other case ideas ?
Possible plastic case reuse ?

Also, at the schlecker store here I saw some funny kiwi products.
Instant Wax Shine: nice design black case with a small red touch, could be used for some joystick-like thing maybe, or to hold a mic ?
Express Cream: the black one has a nice red-black case. I was thinking about fitting a mouse inside.

Except I don't understand anything
We do have case manufacturers in france as well...

http://www.atoplast.fr/
http://www.revoluplast.com/fra/tolerie_plastique.html
But I was more searching for cheap existing casing to reuse.
