Hello 6502man :-)

Does your Microdisc work with another operating system (for example OricDos) ? The RV1 potentiometer is used to adjust the eprom access cycle so that it does not interfere with the memory access of the ULA.

You have to try every position (at most one turn in each direction) and press the reset button to see if your microdisc boots. You can keep the system powered while adjusting the RV1 potentiometer, but I suggest you don't keep the system floppy disk inside the floppy drive while trying all the positions, because in the extreme positions the eprom code is not read correctly and as a result you may fetch bad code that will start a write operation on the disk.

Also, it is possible that with some 6502 cpus you can't find any working position for the RV1 potentiometer...

Cheers,

Fabrice
