BNC video output socket...

If you want to ask questions about how the machine works, peculiar details, the differences between models, here it is !
How to program the oric hardware (VIA, FDC, ...) is also welcome.

BNC video output socket...

Post by sko_ed »

Evening all. I got my Oric Atmos about 18 years ago. It came fitted with a BNC socket which I used to run a low energy green (monochrome) monitor. The monitor eventually died so I started using the RF out. The picture was a little faded so I installed a new RF modulator and removed the connection to the BNC socket. I'd like to reinstall this connection now but can't for the life of me remember how it was connected. I seem to remember the connection took the form of a few resistors in parallel coming from the side wire of the UNF modulator and from the resistor 'bank' near it. Any ideas what resistors I should use? Is the wire (shown) coming from the UHF modulator the video signal?
I've tried to find a tech. sheet for the ASTEC UM1233 E36 but can find precious little info.

Many thanks,
Ed
