In this forum you can write about anything that does not fit in other forums.
This includes generic Oric talkings and things that are totaly unrelated but want to share with people here
I would says that most probably it's a result of some search engines using more than one server to crawl through the webpages, because I doubt we have that many people
Or perhaps some attempt at using distributed networks to spam the forums ?

Maybe the second one... Anyway I was quite just joking... As you said it is quite unprobable we ever have that many people, guests and at the same time!
If they had been genuine visitors, it would've been a shame they didn't sign up as members. I also believe in the search engine theory. I've seen similar numbers from other forums. If I recall correctly, it is the Yahoo spider who launches dozens of sessions at once to traverse websites and forums like this, while e.g. Google does it with only one instance. It should take them more time to download the texts though.
