RIP Ian Sinclair

Post by Symoon »

He was the "I" in "IJK Software" company.
I learnt today of his passing last month.

Thoughts for the Sinclair family.

Aww man, there goes a hero. I'll never forget he was one of the first names of software I ever learned.

Very sad news indeed, all my thoughts go to his brother Keith, his nephew John S., and the rest of his family and friends.

He will be long remembered and honoured within our community, and the upcoming interview of his nephew by Symoon will be a tribute to his contributions to the founding and development of IJK Software that largely contributed to the success of our beloved machines and to our continued enjoyment to this day...

Sad news. Condolences to the Sinclair family.

IJK was well-liked as one of the supporters of Oric in the early days. Everyone seemed to have a copy of Xenon 1, so it's a huge part of my early Oric life.

It's kind of nice that the keyboard has the IJK keys close together. I often glance down when I'm typing and see those letters and think about the Oric connection.
