Re: Tapes transfers updates
Hi Simon
You have done an excellent job cataloguing the Oric software.
I see that you have a few questions about Multigames 2 published by Tansoft
Tansoft were desperate for Oric1 software to compete with the Sinclair Spectrum and I was asked to write Multigames 2 within 3 month.
Before I had completed the coding I was asked to send them screen shots of Hangman; Substrike; Road Race and Moon Lander so that they could go ahead and design the tape cassette inlay.
They did not include a manual with the tape though I did include brief on screen instructions at the beginning of each game.
I did all the coding of Multigames 2 on an early prototype Oric1 so I never wrote a true Atmos version.
Maybe Tansoft used the “Atmos Compatible” sticker as they were keen to shift the old stock of tapes
Regards,
Frank
