Hi,
I'd like to try my hand at recreating some of the classic Oric games of yesteryear and in order to keep them as true as possible, thought it would be great to be able to rip the sprites used in the games and reuse them (same applies for music, text etc - basically anything that can just be reused).
Do tools to do this exist for the Mac and are there any helpful sights around that will help in converting the old 6502 assembler into C or C# or even VB?

Hi nodoid.
I don't know about any tool that is able automatically extract this information. The closest thing is Oric Explorer, but it is a windows application http://oric.mrandmrsdavies.com
About converting the code I think some attempts have been made. Check this link http://jotd.pagesperso-orange.fr/zorgon/index.html and see if you can contact the author for more info.
Maybe someone else can help more...
Good luck!
