If everything goes fine, I will probably be present with my Oric at the Kindergarden Party:

Today I bought a Funai LCD-A1506 (a 15" LCD TV) and tried it on the Oric, it works very well:
I will try to code something during the party
Kindergarden Party 2007
Two PSU actually.
One for the Oric, one for the amplified loud speakers
I can plug a head set, there is volume control, and the Oric itself has a easy to access reset button, a vsync switch, additional jack input for the audio connection with the pc, and a joystick port in the place where the antena box was.
Guess that's about it

Here are some photos of the party:

The party was nice, but my Linux laptop was not cooperative. Since the upgrade to Ubuntu 7.10 some of the things stopped working without me noticing it until it was too late. Typically some of my Wine based stuff are broken, and my VMWare does not work anymore.
Finally, after doing some tweaking, I managed to get a small test program to compile, but then I could not run the result, because Euphoric under DosEmu is just too slow to be usable... and Caloric refused to load a tape file (complaining about an invalid DISK format) and even if it had worked, I noticed that none of the keys on the first line (numbers) was working, meaning it was impossible to use the debugger, or even to do CALL#600...
At this time I switched off the laptop, and explained how to code some few effects to a guy near me (it was his first demo party), using the Oric as an example of how to draw stuff using SIN and COS, etc...
Finally I coded a whole little intro on the Oric as an example, and an organizer asked me if they could show it on the screen.
I will try to get a copy of the video
