Re: Jasmin (2) clock buffering trick?

If someone is interested in AmpliBus schematic here is the whole article (with fixed bugs in the schematic :!: ): Actually there's still a bug, the GND symbol is tied to the Vcc line  And about the strange "short input-output connection" of CD4069 inverter it works! (kind of ...)...

Re: Jasmin (2) clock buffering trick?

After looking at the Ampli-Bus which also has this, I'm convinced it's not a mistake but a design decision.

That's something that should probably be asked on the eevblog forum and tried in pspice.

Re: Jasmin (2) clock buffering trick?

That's what the schematics in Theoric shows, and that's what I thought it was, but someone said yesterday it wasn't the case, and I confirmed from my Jasmin2, Phi2 goes to 3 pins on the CD4069UB, something like 8, 10 and 11. So two inputs and one output. So either: - someone screwed up really good w...

Jasmin (2) clock buffering trick?

During the ORIC visu tonight we discussed the Jasmin controller and the tricks it uses on Phi2. I'm still puzzled as to how it's supposed to work… I tried commenting the facebook post for the visu but it's not allowed it seems. Someone reverse engineered the schematics already, I'd like to get a sca...

Re: Giving away faulty tape player

Already have enough on my shelves :-p

Seems to be one for the SC-3000 machine, maybe you'd find interested people on specific forums?

I doubt the motor has issues… make sure you change the gear first. Possibly a loose belt…

There's one on eBay in Germany

I don't think DBuG has tested his already?

Re: Téléstrat frustration

Actually if I trust the schematics the -12V comes from the PSU *after* the first 1000.
And yes, these old power supplies can be nasty.

Re: Erebus.

Although, in the case of peripherals using the same IO they will end up having trouble on the data bus anyway, but yeah…

Re: Erebus.

We should to use open collector/drain or Tri-state outputs on /MAP, /ROMDIS, /IRQ, /I/O_CTRL and /RESET lines. Open-collector and tri-state are not the same. Open-collector basically creates an AND gate with all participating outputs, so any one setting it to 0 will get a 0 on the line. Tri-state i...

My ORIC-1 has a:
HCS 10017 | CDI-7C | 8316

My own Atmos:
HCS 10017 | CDI/8F | 8409

For the other two Atmos, one was never open and the other one:

Re: Protek joystick interface diagram ?

Ok, checking on RS-online, the lowest threshold voltage available for shottky diodes seems to be 240mV. Depending on the internal transistor voltage drop it might work.
