Re: The Hunt For Broken Stuff
Here's what I found: http://space1999.defence-force.org/ is missing its background. http://oric30years.defence-force.org/ as well (I think) Actually I think all the (games).defence-force.org are missing their backgrounds - Stormlord, Oricium, etc. http://www.defence-force.org/index?page=games Doesn'...

Re: Major Defence-force structural update
Well done on navigating the stormy waters of Internet-site maintenance. Is there supposed to be a difference between defence-force.org and defence-force.com? At the moment I'm seeing links to the .com, but everywhere else is .org and there seems to be some IMG references pointing into la-la-land, me...

Re: Oric related links of interest
This is serious - we should really have copies of these sites archived on living servers somehow. Is anyone able to do this - what can I do to help?

Have a look at libpipi for clues:
http://caca.zoy.org/wiki/libpipi/oric
And PictConv too:
http://www.osdk.org/www_osdk/index?page ... e=pictconv
Probably you can learn a lot from just those two projects by reading their sources..

Re: Disk conversion - with XP
What I think would be useful is if we could get FUSE drivers written that can handle the Oric disk format, and then be able to use FUSE with any media that are available - SD, CF, etc.

Re: Disk conversion - with XP
I don't get it - is WinXP running natively on your PC? Because then you should be able to just gain raw access to the A: drive (assuming you've got a real floppy drive) and off it goes - read from A:, write to a C:\TMP\ folder, or something? But .. if you've got WinXP in a virtual machine, say you'r...

Re: Eclipse and WUDSN IDE
I second the call for a chance to work on the cross-platform port of this tool - I only have a Windows VM for the Oric tools, and wouldn't be using it otherwise .. it'd be seriously nice to be able to use Oric tools on either Linux (preferred) or OSX (also good) ..

Swap working Oric Atmos for .. ?
As it happens, I have a spare Atmos in my collection which I was thinking about lately .. it'd sort of be nice to have something else in the collection. So if anyone is interested in swapping, I'm willing to trade a perfect working-order Atmos, in original box, for .. anything really. Make me an off...

Re: Gamebase Oric V3.0
Oh, 'tis a shame you feel that way, but I also wish to thank you for the hard work and energy you put into providing this valuable resource .. if you want my opinion, GameBase Oric simply wasn't promoted well enough to get it out there, and was always too hard to actually get .. but now you're using...
