Re: Development of Blake's 7 (was OASIS development)

@Dbug  I knew you'd say that! Yep, it is surely possible to get more space with some code optimizations. As Symoon said, I will keep it just in case some bugs appear in the engine, but I wanted some opinions on possible additions. Does anybody think supporting joysticks is worth it? I am prett...

Re: Rambo/Tivoli Pirat

I was sure that this code could be optimized when i did the disassembly of this code.

Anyway, if you do an osdk tool to generate music like this one let me know :) and a faster player :)

Re: Assembler / disassembler

I used frasm, xa, ca65. XA is the best solution (for syntax, preprocessor, etc). ca65 is good too, but, XA is the best assembler. Dbug is the maintainer of XA in OSDK. It means that there is updates, bug corrections. The only tool, i don't use in OSDK, is the compiler. Oric's coder use mainly XA. It...

About Rambo, there is no IRQ, it reads the data at 100% cpu time.

For information, touch tool for Orix had been released yesterday : https://www.oric.org/software/touch-2402.html

Re: [ORIC HD] Final release of the USB key reader and micro sdcard on the Oric

I wrote theses routines. For example, Orix needs at least 32 KB of ROM (telemon and Orix), and a ram overlay access. The main problem is how to store it : 1) i could load it from a tape file, but i can not access to overlay ram with an atmos without FDC 2) i could modify cload and csave, but everybo...

Re: Orix playing a video on real hardware

A sample of what can be done on plain TO7 is available in this message (in French, but I think this doesn't matter to view the result) and can also be tested under Windows using self-contained/preconfigurted emulator available in the download link provided in that message . Actually the whole threa...
