Re: Cumulus Issues
I have the same problem as Peacer. My Cumulus work perfect with one of my Oric Atmos and don't work at all on my Oric Nova 64. Both computers work with no problems with my microdisc clones, but with Cumulus Nova shows strange symbols exactly as peacer's video. Sorry, I am reading this discussion for...

Re: Microdisc competitor - jORIC communicator
The controller is similar to that you have saw at Visu, but is improved for Joystick / Data IO support and don't need external Disc II controller. It has +5V to -12V voltage convertor too, so you could use usual PC PSU. Jean Marc's controller need +5V, + 12, -12 voltage PSU, because the real Disc I...

Re: Tap files To files for Cumulas
On my SD card device (not shown yet) I just start the emulator (Emul8D), boot the disc image, CLOAD the game and then have saved it on the disc. Next is copy the *.dsk to SD card and it's done. if the game is autorun then I use "load" function on emulator control panel and load the game in...

Re: Only for real maniacs! :)
Thanks for the interests guys. It's real that this my drive is with less functionality, because there is not possibility for connecting HxC to it. It's just beautiful drive. The other solution is my DuoDrive. It's better than Cumulus, because it could use real floppies too. But Cumulus is much more ...

Re: Only for real maniacs! :)
Because of that I have said - for real maniacs. When you carry this device in your hands it's like a jewelery. Next to Oric is real beauty I have Cumulus too, it's wonderful, but not so beautiful like that. But it's just my view and the people liking real drives

Re: Problem with my Cumulus
Hello,
Thanks for the answers.
I didn't know I must use only HC cards. Anyway, two of the cards were not HC. The third is HC and is not working. It is Kingston 8GB. Just to know.
Best regards,
George

Problem with my Cumulus
Hello guys,
I have ested 3 sd cards, but I have a message SD Card IO Error. Is it something I must do before plug? I just formatted the cards and wrote the sedoric.dsk to them. Sorry, I don't know what else to do. Is there a list of supported cards?
Thanks in advance.

Re: What does everyone think of this?
Hello, Thanks for the interests of my drives. Sorry, but I want to make really professional looking drives. I'm making complex laser cutting to make beautiful panels and dust removing technology for old paint and professional painting for new paint. All of these is not cheap, but prefer to make good...
