Re: Oricutron 1.0 (EDIT: Now 1.2)
I tried the ISS version of Oricutron with WINE under Xubuntu, it works perfectly. (win64-20210214) AND instruction is recognized in the monitor. Real USB joystick works. I can load Disks. Hard reset in the monitor menu. The keys with their SHIFT symbols correspond when I use the French ROM but I hav...

Re: Over The Air Registers For Oric
you can use a #3xx address with 2 bits (RX and TX), you will need decoding circuits, Waou !! that's an idea !! If I understand well, it means that with only two bits from a single register I could create a full duplex serial protocol. is that right ? Yes, it is possible. The Oric computer is not ab...

Re: Over The Air Registers For Oric
If we use a NodeMcu pcb flashed wit the C64 firmware, we need to communicate with a RS232 protocol, then it is necessary to find a parallel/ serial converter like 6551 chip, in this way, we can address the registers of this component into the Page3 of the Oric memory, the other solution is using the...

Re: Over The Air Registers For Oric
Interesting. 8) With the c64 it seems that the ESP8266 module allows you to use the WIFI network, the communication is done by a serial protocol, you can use a #3xx address with 2 bits (RX and TX), you will need decoding circuits, or then, we simply make a connection to the printer port, providing a...

Now we can use a standard 27c128 chip easier to find.HigashiJun wrote: ↑Fri Oct 21, 2022 4:35 am Nice, but isn't the HN4827128G EPROM solution, that iss investigated on some time ago, much simpler ?
I personally have this EPROM in my Oric and have no problems at all with disks.
