Re: Jasmin time

This is my whole setup 2 Goteks with FlashFloppy firmware:

All cables are straight (i.e. no twists). Drive A/B are selected with jumpres.

I hope this will help

Re: Jasmin time

... Hi, Chema! I saw minter 's message at retrowiki.es (which I'm reading regularly). Here is some info about my work on Jasmin-2: Most important: BOTH ribbon cables are with WRONG crimped connectors! Because of this I've changed the soldered connectors with pin-headers. I don't recommend this to a...

Re: Mageco MIDI interface

Everything is calculated. It looks bigger but actually it's matchbox-sized (no banana for scale) :).

Nice idea +1! Additionally it would be good to invite @Inufuto at DF-forum.
The game is nice and I will try it! :)

We'd need clones of ourselves sometimes!
Indeed, so many plans and on-going projects and so little time. 99% is ready. :)

Re: Mageco MIDI interface

Question: Why is there an optocoupler only on the IN port and not the OUT? In an ideal world, they would not be needed, but in practice, people often plug the wrong cable in the wrong place, and some only MIDI equipment can be quite nasty  It's by design and it really must be only one on MID...

Re: Mageco MIDI interface

Nice find. This is more simple variant of this RS232(Minitel)/MIDI board: MIDI_Minitel_interface.png Both are very easy for build. One problem can be sourcing of 6850 (6551, CM603) - they are really obsolete. Other is the I/O addresses #3FE and #3FF which can rise incompatibilities with other extens...

Re: Upgrade Time: Encounter

Great progress, Dbug!
I've played quickly with the width of 'space' (i.e. display.s line #1286) here is the result:

Of course you know about this and it's just matter of taste ;).

Re: Upgrade Time: Encounter

@Dbug: Can you check the library.ndx ?
It "indexes" a file 'disk.s" which is missing in the lib/ directory. (It's obviously the same as 'loader_api.s' ... ;))

I bet it's MEURTRE A GRANDE VITESSE :D .
Interesting is how the abbrev MGV correspondents with TGV.
Also you can take a look at game hint #2 - the only thing that I can read and understand. ;)

Re: oricOpenLibrary by [raxiss]

Guys, thank for the kind words - this is really motivating :D. ... All headers may look bit unusual and wired but the reason for this is to be compatible with cc65 and osdk - the idea is to be used static variables for passing params and compiler independent return of result. (A:X vs. X:A). Are data...

Re: Oricutron on Chromebook

Indeed, I have some sound issues too. Interesting is that sound related code is not changed since years at all. By me SDL is definitely worst than SDL2 and problems appeared after moving to newer Linux version which uses 'PipeWire' based sound playback ( additionally I'm using KDE with Wayland windo...
