Re: Protek joystick interface diagram ?
Are you telling me when I'm not around people design electronics without caring about open collector lines ? Joking, you can't know everything, these kind of things are usually taught during several years at engineering school… Putting diodes should work, as long as the inte...

Re: Oric extender - a basis for DIY projects and experiments
There's an attempt at Seilebost's site (scroll down) http://passionoric.free.fr/eng/oric.htm It's already a nice effort, but yeah something more up to date would be cool with all the new hardware around :) I sent a mail asking for permission to reuse but never got any reply. It's not like it's much...

Re: ORIC SDCARD
Truth be told, I had to base the depth of the case on an educated guess as I didn’t have the SD card module at hand at the time I was modeling the case. Hence, it’s protruding. Also, in hindsight, I did realize it would’ve made more sense to put the whole card the other way around with the connecto...

Re: Jasmin 2 power supply
You can find schematics here . Note the power connector has pins drawn not in order. And also they labelled it +5 and +12 but it's wrong as well. The power brick itself claims to be 8V and 15V, although it's actually quite more when measured. This is because the regulators are inside the Jasmin, so ...

Re: ORIC SDCARD
I'm still not too fond of 3D printing for such cases but I must admit it looks way better than the Cumulus already!
But why put the SD slot at the bottom and not on the top part (at the red-black junction)?
On the other end I the blue SD part protruding from the Cumulus doesn't look that nice either…

FebrORIC?
Last year a bunch of youtubers decided to coordinate their efforts during a month to release themed video, under the name/hashtag SepTandy . Then they thought why not make a DOScember as well… I figure we should try to push for a FebrORIC, because why not? (I think it sounds better than Januoric.) S...

Re: Philips D6260 K7 deck bulk repair
Ok, so I received the replacement gears, they look really nice, just a few small bubbles telling they were molded in some way, but nothing preventing them to work. Philips_D6260_DSCN0957.jpg I cleaned the second one I have (battery leakage…), replaced the gears and I'll also need to replace the midd...
