Re: Missing software?

Guess it's a mix. I'd say in the early 90s new software were probably produced in UK but we French don't know them much (I have absolutely no idea of what was done by OUG / Rethoric for instance). In the 2000s, it could be possible no software was released, but you could dig in the minigames compo, ...

Re: Newbie just got an Oric-1

Do you have more details on that Telestrat that sold for 800? I bought mine for 500Euros', so thats interesting to me .. I only found back (it was in May) that there was (at least) a Telestrat and two slave drives. I can't recall what other stuff was there, but there were several pictures so I thin...

Re: Newbie just got an Oric-1

Although rather useless except for testing, I certainly would never upgrade a 16k Oric-1, they're quite rare! BTW I would not recommand leboncoin unless you can meet the seller to get the item and pay him. There are lots of scams there, for instance the last Telestrat that sold at 800 euros on Ebay:...

Re: The Hellion

Hehe, just tried the C64 version. It's bugged and prevents from going further than level 76!
A few levels change (no more Ultra levels, and some jokes at authors or companies have vanished).

Re: The Hellion

Great, thank you Steve! Now: 050 - IT'S OUR GAME konwing the game was released on C64 (with few different levels or level names BTW), and knowing that the ennemies in this level are Atari logos, could this just be something funnyy meaning "Atari, leave us alone"? Or maybe "it's our ga...

Re: The Hellion

Abut Fly By Night: could be Rush, but from 1975. In 1983 another song called like this was released, see; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walk_into_Light . There's no way to be sure? BTW does anyone know where are the authors of The Hellion now? And did you know the game was released on C64? (explainin...

Re: The Hellion

Thanks again for help guys. Steve: I think you are mixing the level Everst Ascent (mountains indeed) and Ever Rust which looks llike opening windows (?) About Eugene, I now discovered the whole story. Quite funny. It should be in CEO-Mag in January or February, but I can't resist publishing it right...

Re: The Hellion

Thanks you guys, all this is very interesting, and sometimes you bring me the light ;-)
Antiriad, were the glow sticks already so popular around 1983-1984?

Devious plates and ultra violets - how didn't I see these?

Re: Space Invaders (Midway)

As far as I can recall, Fabrice had indeed emulated the game on Oric. I recall he wrote 1 or 2 articles about it, but can't remember when it was (I'd say around 2000?).

Re: The Hellion

Hi, would anyone know if "ranting rocket" has any meaning in English, apart the fact that it could describe agressive missiles?

Tansoft releases (inlay colour)

Hi all, I'm in possession of 2 versions of "Oric multigames 1" by Tansoft. I suspect this game is a very early release (copyright 1983, recorded in slow mode...) One has the classical Oric-1 look (computer with blue and dark background, like on the Oric-1 box). The other has the same pictu...

No problem, no bad sound, everything is perfect!

SO, the problem is more likely due to something strange with newest hardware or operating systems...
