Re: Oricutron or Euphoric in the browser anyone ?

@Hialmar : Great work! I have the good feeling we are very close to the for-a-long-time-expected Oricutron's version 1.3 ;). Personally I have few small improvements to commit (which will not change anything globally) but I wish to run all sources trough a code formatter and make them in shape as X...

Re: Defender..auto regenerated?

Hey, Dom, CHAPEAU BAS! Your work is absolutely amazing! So far, using your guides, I've ported to IJK-egoist: - ijk-3d-fongus.tap - ijk-defence-force.tap - ijk-invaders.tap - ijk-styx.tap Everything works like charm :). I'll finish in no-time the remaining games and this will be released as IJK-ego...

Great! I like Clock Signal for it's unique features and the pro-level of its internals. Thanks!

In short: It's not worth it. :)
This 63(b) mod maybe will help if there are real problems with boot. With working Oric it can make things worst.

Re: What about creating game compilations?

Good idea!
Actually we ([raxiss]) planed to make such thing like "Annual release" of all our games so far (some of them have little updates, added support of IJK-joystick, more levels, etc.) but this doesn't exclude to participate in a more common project. 8)

Re: Novalight - very fast tape loading

Well, it's almost one year later but I think that the 'last word' about the max speed has not yet been spoken. :) @Symoon : Can you remember the reason to use this code for sending a bit in Novalight/F16 source : // F16 is an optimised WAV signal working a bit faster, with all Oric standard ROM rout...

Re: CLOAD-ing recursively

"Restar" :) Typo fixed. Thanks :) I guess that does not work with Oricutron 1.2 of the OSDK (All I get is Searching .. and "01" in Green on the right) May it will run if you copy the tap file to the 'tapes' sub-folder and 'Insert...' it from there. <-- this didn't worked and it'...

CLOAD-ing recursively

Hi all! This is bit odd and I'm not sure if it will be of any practical usage but because it's fun I decided to share. So, recently I'm working on a new device for sending TAPs to Oric with high speed protocols and lot of extras (more detail will come soon) and for test purposes (and because no moni...

Re: Games Review 2020

This is great idea to have such summary of the year! - CC65 Chess : https://www.oric.org/software/cc65_chess-2504.html About our chess game - there is small detail which I like to be fixed at oric.org: We released two versions of the game: - open source - which is merged to the main repository and i...

Re: Need advice on VIA control (PORT A)

@ Dbug : YES, the values 175=0xA0=10101111 and then 255=0xFF=11111111 are making the relay to switch on every byte being send (making noise twice on ON and on OFF) because of change in bit PB6 (STROBE is PB4 which is ok). In common POKE-ing fixed values to PORT B (0x300) is not good idea! The good p...
