Re: My new Cumana drive ;)
Did you send it to Zaxon or solved the matter anyhow? Mine is not corrupting hfe files. I wonder if it could be timing issues with the MAP signal when switching from ROM to RAM. I don't remember if the OS does that often when starting, while B7 keeps the ROM disabled all the time... But could not re...

Re: My new Cumana drive ;)
Hi all. I tested one of these units from a friend and got some trouble. Maybe someone can help. Firstly, it is a bit reluctant to react to the reset button. It usually takes two or three times for the Oric to boot. Secondly, I could only make Blake's 7 and Barbitoric (iirc) to load. They both work o...

Re: opelco and 3 1/2 inch drive
Yeah. What Dbug said. The usual is straight, not twisted, but you have to be able to configure your drive as sd0, sd1, sd2 or sd3 (usually with micro switches or jumpers). Most PC drives are ser up as ds1 by default and use the twisted cable trick, but that won't work with the Oric. At least it does...

It is in hydroponics, there is a quarantine room. The plant graphic flickers when you enter the room to signal that is the one you're looking for.

Re: Oric-1 Reborn - Possible Project?
I am not really a great fan of this kind of projects. Not even fpga solutions like mister, but this brought the Oric to a new user base which uses only these devices and would not try an Oric otherwise. By the way, the Telesteat core is quite advanced :) I am more into fpga solutions for old chip re...

Re: A new adventure
Very nice!!! Thanks, Bieno for mentioning me, but I'm not sure I deserve credit. I simply created the tap from the snapshot with he Quill, which is somewhat awkward as the program uses non-standard save routines thus forcing Oricutron to use the ORT format, and that was it all. Anyway, congratulatio...

Re: No Problem by IRIS
Just played it and it is really cool! Congrats!
I am always amazed at the tricks you demo coders come up with... extremely good stuff. And tap based!!!
I experienced some tearing, however. Did you try the trick to vsync by changing between 50-60 Hz? Maybe the routine is too large to fit in memory?

Re: Syntax in MONASM
Can't help, sorry. But my best guess is that the 0400 is the address at which the code is assembled. No idea about the ++ ? 1 bits.
Either the @ is undocumented and relates to the usual "at" meaning or it is taken as extra input and is generating some kind of error or unexpected result.

Link to source code in repo broken?
Hi Dbug. I was trying to point someone to the sources of Blake's 7 and I found that the link to the repository in the games page seems to be broken. I have the impression that I already asked this before, but can this be fixed? I think you answered this before, but I simply cannot remember what the ...
