It's a bless because it's kind of rare, you should definitely keep it as it is and not try to upgrade it.
It's a curse because most software runs only on 48k orics

I've been using it quite a lot, it works brilliantly.
There's one known issue: Many software fails to replay the videos, an example would be VLC player. But that's a VLC bug, not Oricutron's fault.
Could you describe your problem?

I can testify that the Pravetz 8D is an excellent machine, nearly 100% compatible with the Atmos (only difference is the font and the caps-lock key).

The complete code of the osdk is in the /lib folder, sprintf is implemented in "printf.s" but also rely on conversions from "itoa" and other functions.
