If you mean the boot up screen that is supposed to be from the ram chips IIRC I think only the original type will produce the nice blocks of B&W. Do you need a chip? I have a lot of 8877 chips used in the Cumana. They aren't directly compatible and need some different capacitors or something but if you're stuck it might be possible to substitute.

I used BACKUP and COPY and have a twin disk system to make it easier. (Copying with a single disk drive is a pain. )
