Re: Sell me a data recorder! Price no object!

Well, we'll have to see what's available.
I don't want to be bidding against Baz for one.

Re: John Gage reviews Damsel In Distress!

It's kind of frustrating to see him keep going to the menu at the bottom instead of using 0-9 for the quick actions :-/ 6 out of 10 without even testing a single puzzle, really people should not grade games they don't even play. He can't play. He's utterly useless at playing games. It was painful w...

Re: Sell me a data recorder! Price no object!

Are you still wanting a cassette player? I could get hold of one and post it.

(We're able to get couriers to come and collect stuff. )

Re: Sell me a data recorder! Price no object!

I think Baz had some cassette recorders. You might find him via the World of Oric pages.

Re: Forgotten software

Ah yes, it works with Oric-1 hardware - but you just get the black screen with the default Atmos setting.

It seems a bit buggy. Some doors have me coming out in the middle of a wall and one sent me to the middle of the outer boundary.

Has anyone got the original listing so we can proof read it?

Re: John Gage reviews Damsel In Distress!

Maybe you should try reviewing some games, Rob. I think you'd do a better job.

Re: Forgotten software

It's a BASIC prog so you can easily Break in to it and have a look. Line 36 is INK 0 I'm not sure how this is supposed to work? It appears to show only some of the screen at a time. I'm not sure if that is what it's supposed to be like?? But if you use CTRL C at the start to Break into the prog and ...

Re: More Oric stuff on YouTube

Gosh you can learn something from these annoying guys that keep saying 'sixty-five 02'. Never heard the keyboard called a 'chiclet' keyboard before. That bit is legit at least. Saying the Oric has 6 x 1 graphics cells and less colour clash is not so clever.

Re: More Oric stuff on YouTube

Some guy called "RobC" keeps encouraging that John Cage guy to make videos about Oric games. You'd think if you were going to video yourself playing games that you'd have some basic ability to play games - but not the Youtubers. Why bother learning about the computer or the game before playing? No, ...

Re: OUM disk

OUM disks should be accompanied by some description which should let you know how to load things. CLOAD is cassette loading instruction. If you want to know DOS commands find the Sedoric manual. Basic commands are LOAD"filename" - but note the file extension. Files by default have a.COM extension bu...

Re: Diagnostic cartridges?

No, it's designed for Oric-1/ Atmos.

Mike Brown is the guy to ask about this.
The information is on his site.

I think LED2 is indicating a RAM failure.
