Re: Oricutron and Euphoric with Modem.dsk and RS232

Now it clear what you want to do. Put in config file: serial=com:115200,8,N,1,COM1 Take care to set the proper number after the up-case 'COM', you can check in Windows 'Device Manager' the actual number. Than plug loopback dongle in your RS port. Here are variants of what you need: rs-dongle.gif or ...

Re: WAV files not loading on Oric 1

If there is no particular reason to use UHF output or the composite video mod,
I highly recommend to use RBG to SCART - it's simply the best and easy to build.
Else, more info about one possible solution for composite video mod you can find in this post.

Re: Oricutron and Euphoric with Modem.dsk and RS232

Oricutron v.1.2 works fine using serial emulation in 'loopback' mode with MODEM.DSK. After booting with MODEM.DSK you have to configure the hardware (i.e. 1.SETUP LINE ). Than select 9600, 8 bit, no parity, 1 stop bit. Importatant : base address is #31C! Flow control is 'none'. Start the terminal pr...

Re: Next Cumulus batch

@Godzil: about the mechanical 'nice to have': - LCD connector on PCB - it's fragile - one of the cumuluses I received from metadata was broken - probably not good soldered and during transportation was detached. Than follow a long story how I fixed it - I will post additionally with pictures. Probab...

Re: Next Cumulus batch

About price : For me 70EUR (shipping not included) is the fair price for Cumulus "as is". Else, up to 100EUR are OK for me, but I would require guaranty, that device will work with all of my Orics, Atmoses and 8D. Additionally there are some mechanical issues, which I like to be solved too for that ...

Re: Global Game Jam 2015

On 20 March 2015 will be almost total (93%) Solar Eclipse in Oslo.
What about adding new place in the game where the player can watch it.
Yes, it's temporary event, but for graphics black and little white is enough :).

Re: OSDK 1.5

The "writing" messages come from 'old2mfm'. And here is why they are annoying: for(s=0;s<sides;s++) for(t=0;t<tracks;t++) { for(i=0;i<sectors;i++) { printf("writing size %d track %d sector %d...\n", s, t, i); Obvious 'size' should be 'side' ;). And looking sources there is no option '-v' for both 't...

Re: OSDK 1.5

Hi Chema, tap2dsk+old2mfm from OSDK 1.5 are working for me fine. This is under Linux. I'm using command line: tap2dsk -n'MONITOR' -i'!QUIT:!MONITOR' Monitor.tap Monitor.dsk old2mfm Monitor.dsk and the generated DSK works. if I change to ... -nMONITOR ... i.e. without quotes - DSK is bad. You can che...
