Re: TapOric - android TAP player for Oric

Nice to see taporic being released. Any Oric project is always good news but it's hard for me to enjoy it since I'm feeling I'm getting 15 years back with the basic audio/tap solutions. I know it's hard work and time-consuming to work on hardware/software projects for old computers/systems but since...

Re: short and sweet Sound bank designer

Because it's easier for me to deal with int rather than hex I modded Twi's basic program to display int and added the ranges of the values to be used (according to "L'Oric à Nu"). For the details of bytes 7 and 13 then it's better to have a look at the book or read Ladywasky's explanation ...

Re: ORIC SDCARD

I would be in. But as stated before, there are some differences between the schematics and the board. So for routing purpose it should be better to wire them correctly. I will have a look at it by the end of the week (I have a sdlep to solder for my Acorn Electron and Matra Alice before ;) ).

Possible to do that without modifying that much the source image : https://tof.cx/images/2018/12/24/46d18798e213ee674d4caabd47d59e0e.png https://tof.cx/images/2018/12/24/da629ed25c4d4d83ccac350622823818.png But as Dbug or others said before I definitely think it would be better to modify the source ...

Re: CC65 to DSK

You can use : tap2dsk file1.tap file2.tap file3.tap fileN.tap dskname.dsk And remember old dsk format so you need to use old2mfm but Dbug or others have already told you about that. If you use DSK manager you should tick the "boot" box just left to the diskname and it should be a sedoric b...

Re: BASIX

I've not been through any thorough research and testing but is this BASIX some something like the Atari 800xl "Turbobasic Xl"? Some computers have been through this kind of improvement, the most interesting being this Turbobasic-Xl. Of course the atari basic was pretty lame but the Turbo-b...

Re: OSDK 1.13

As explained in the Oricutron thread, I wanted to test some basic stuff and no way to paste basic content from clipboard with Oricutron, would go in monitor mode randomly with no way to exit. The same with loading the bas file from a disk, Oricutron would enter the monitor mode. I will try tonight w...
