Waydor solution?

Hi I've found a solution here: http://solutionarchive.com/file/id%2C6918/ but it's not working for 1 part: you CHOP TREE, the tree falls (TIMBER), then it says CHOP TREE again to break the axe and get the emerald inside. But the game doesn't want you to chop tree again. Tested with english (Oric 1 o...

Re: Tap2Exe?

Be sure to use the liboric contained in return of dr genius as it contains many basic bugfixes, including a better line draw and a self modifying code detection mode for the asm part

Re: Tap2Exe?

Well, if you ever want to contribute to Oricutron, i'd be honoured, but I guess you're a busy guy enough already... Well, Oricutron is sooooo much better than Amoric (Amoric= patched ROMs, music but no noise, no floppy, no telestrat, loads of bugs & emulation inaccuracies...). Well it ran on ra...

Re: Tap2Exe?

Hi, I've fixed the links (except for Rendez Vous de la Terreur which I still have to upload) About 68k exes: could be done, but a lot of optimization would be required, mostly because of C and SDL systematic full screen refresh. Check my Bagman remake 68K SDL version. Even on A1200/68060 it crawls: ...

Re: Tap2Exe?

Hi,

A few conversions can be downloaded here, user or developper package (with source & conversion tools)

http://jotd.pagesperso-orange.fr/oric_remakes.html

For tools be sure to get Dr Genius, as for instance House of Death contains an outdated version of the engine/tools.

Regards

Re: Tap2Exe?

You can save even more bytes by removing the "#" from the data, and evaluate it with POKE I,VAL("#"+A$), and it's still almost readable. I did this in my games a looooong time ago. Hialmar you're right about C taking much more room than the BASIC counterpart. Global variables or ...

Re: Tap2Exe?

Making full basic apps working on another computer is not that hard, just need to write another token interpreter. But for full Assembly (or C) app, or worst, app mixing basic and asm, is something that may start to be challenging. But I'm pretty sure it's not that hard in fact. I should add this i...

Re: Tap2Exe?

Hi I have done some conversions of oric games to c+sdl some time ago (xenon, zorgon, zebbie) using a disassembler and some awk scripts and a 6502 c library. It needed a great deal of adaptation because only graphics were emulated. I m currently developping a bas2c utility to convert tap to basic tex...
