Re: ULA versions
I was looking at a few of the motherboard photos, and ULA chips and ebay, and I was wondering if there was a difference between the various revisions. From what I've seen, we can find the following: - HCS 10017 | CDI-8B | 6809 ? - HCS 10017 | CDI / 8F | 8350 - HCS 10017 | CDI 8F | 8422 - HCS 10017 ...

Re: Oriclopedia: A series of videos on all things Oric
Great video, and how exciting! I've not heard of a Nova 64 before. Do you know whether the 64 indicates the amount of RAM? What differences do you expect between these and the Atmos?

Re: Erebus Batch November 2019
I've had time to test out my Erebus now. Both the Sandisk and Transcend cards work, the only difference being that the Erebus listed files on the Transcend in a non-alphanumeric order. The long filename was shown truncated but still loaded fine. The .DSK file was ignored and not listed. An odd thing...

Re: Erebus Batch November 2019
I just received my Erebus this morning - thank you so much Mustangus. It looks great! - Kaydav: Did you have the opportunity to test the 2GB Transcend (or only the Sandisk) I haven't had time to test it out yet because I'm heading away from home for a few days. But when I get back I'll let you know ...

Re: Erebus Batch November 2019
- the current Erebus version "only" accepts 512 entries on the root of the card I'm wondering if it's possible to have more than 512 if they are divided into subfolders. At the moment my copy of the Oric Gamebase has about 1400 files and takes up about 67Mb .. so the limiting factor would...

Re: Connecting to a tape recorder in 2019
I kept away from new cassette recorders because I wasn't sure how compatible they'd be in terms of the DIN socket and also needing mono playback. However, my old retro equipment stash includes the recorders that we used back then and I tested and cleaned up one for my Oric and it's doing fine. Ebay ...

Re: cataloguing tapes
If you want you can catalog your tape files with my taptap utility (for windows , and sources for Linux) https://github.com/DJChloe/taptap you can even extract each program from one tap and split it in different .tap files. example : taptap cat c:\yourfolder\mytape.tap if you want to save it in a t...

Poverty Game
My father is a retired geography teacher. He developed this game in the 1970s as a classroom activity and originally pen-and-paper. It's based on farming in India round about that time, from actual case studies and climate data. The class would look up tables on an overhead projector to calculate wh...

Oricutron and window size/scale
Is it possible to scale up the window size for Oricutron? I'm using v1.2 on Windows10, not in fullscreen, software rendering. The window is a tad small for my preference and it'd be great to be able to increase it a little without having to switch to fullscreen. When I use Euphoric, my DOSbox setup ...

Re: List for Microdisc controller + Amplibus, LAST BATCH.
Hello Silicebit,
I know I'm late to this so I understand if you already have too many people on your list, but I'd like to be added if possible. I'm interested in both the controller and amplibus. Thank you so much.
